Located in Essokope, North Tongu District, Volta Region, Nyifrakpo D/A School has been struggling since its establishment in 1951. Despite initial infrastructure development by former President JJ Rawlings, the school's facilities have not been renovated in 67 years.
Current Challenges:
- No Junior High School, forcing students to travel over an hour to nearby villages
- Dilapidated teachers' bungalows, rendering them uninhabitable
- Incomplete six-classroom block project initiated in 2013
- Lack of resources, forcing the community to undertake partial construction
Headmaster Richard Klome Kodzo and PA Chairperson Fidelia Dzro appeal to the government and stakeholders to:
- Complete the abandoned school block
- Renovate teachers' bungalows
- Provide adequate infrastructure for quality education.
The community urges support to address these pressing needs and ensure a conducive learning environment.
