Regional Chief Imam and Police Commander Address Muslim Congregation
The regional chief Imam, Alpha Ana's Amidu, led Muslims in prayers at Nuriya Park to thank God for the completion of their fast. He prayed for a peaceful election and appealed to the government for support in completing their Islamic Basic school.
The regional police commander, DCOP Boadu Ekumah, assured the congregation of police protection during Ramadan and cautioned Muslim youth against being influenced by politicians to incite violence during and after the December 7 election.
