Neglect and Challenges Faced by Abutia Wukpo Community in Ho West District

The residents of Abutia Wukpo in the Ho West District are expressing deep concern over the apparent neglect by the Ho West Assembly, which has resulted in a lack of development in their community. 

The Assembly man for Abutia Wukpo, Hon Jonathan Bedi, highlighted the dire situation where both humans and animals are forced to share the same water source. Additionally, the community is plagued by a lack of access to electricity, despite numerous pleas and polls conducted over the years.

One of the major challenges faced by the people of Abutia Wukpo is the absence of electricity, which has severely impacted their daily lives. 

Health issues have also become a pressing concern due to the lack of basic amenities. Residents have been diligently paying property rates and other revenues, yet their grievances remain unaddressed by the government and the assembly.

The community's infrastructure woes are further exacerbated by the absence of a safe means of crossing the river, particularly during rainy seasons. This has resulted in difficulties for school children, pregnant women, and even teachers trying to commute to educational institutions. 

The overall academic performance at Abutia Wukpo is suffering as a result of these ongoing challenges.
