The people of Klamadaboe community in the North Tongu Constituency are urgently requesting intervention for the deplorable state of their school building.
The Chief of the area, Torgbe Vidogoe, has expressed concern over the collapsing school building, which has been a problem for the past five years with no response to their complaints. He is appealing to individuals and NGOs to assist them.
The headmaster, Mr. Otchi Blekor Robert, highlighted that the situation is significantly impacting the school as they have 177 pupils but are facing classroom shortages, leading to parents withdrawing their children from the school.
The School Management Committee chairman, Mr. David Nomenyo, emphasized that the deteriorating building is negatively affecting the students and called for intervention from the Ghana Education Service and the Member of Parliament, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. Students also shared their plea, expressing that learning under a tree for five years has greatly affected them and emphasizing the importance of education for their future prospects.
