Accra has confirmed the passing of Auntie Muni, a well-known waakye vendor in the capital.
According to a report from Asaase Radio, Auntie Muni died at the University of Ghana Medical Center in Accra early on January 3.
"Mummy was sick, she was complaining of pain, so we took her to the SNNIT Hospital... there were complications, so she asked that they discharge her," her son Arafat said on Asaase Radio.
Auntie Muni, a Waakye vendor in Accra, claims that business has slowed down due to economic hardship.
