Nana Kwame Bediako, sometimes referred to as Cheddar or Freedom Jacob Caesar, has declared that he is not interested in running for president and is instead interested in being the salvation sent to aid in the development of Ghana and Africa.

He made these remarks at a press conference that was held after the "The Convention," a public lecture event that was scheduled to take place on January 7, 2024, under the auspices of the New Africa Foundation, was canceled. At that event, he introduced himself as the face of the New Force movement.

Bediako declared that he intended to present himself, talk about his views, and share his ambition to become the president of Ghana on the New Africa Platform.
Nonetheless, Caesar underlined during a news conference that he is dedicated to being a force for good in people's lives."I understand that you are searching for the man who is seated in front of you and wearing a mask. "I came to you as your salvation, so I am nothing to be scared of," Caesar declared, outlining his vision for Africa and expressing confidence in the continent's ability to become the next great global force."I have a plan and I have a vision for this nation and for Africa too because Africa is the next biggest thing,"
Positions held by individuals or by presidents don't interest me; instead, it's the people and the regions, the nation, the continent, and the resources here that I want to showcase to the world in order to demonstrate to them what we are capable of creating with what we have.
Bediako, also known as The Man in the Mask, stated that he was driven by a feeling of duty to create a middle-class economy free from intervention from the government.
"I can benefit humanity since I am a product of the earth. My purpose in coming here is to make this world and nature better. He made it plain that his goals went beyond self-interest by saying, "I am not going to leave here without God even being proud of me."
The Office of the President's Diaspora Affairs Directorate provided clarification over the sudden cancelation of "The Convention 2024." Dr. Nadia Adongo Fynn, the deputy director, clarified that although the venue had been approved in November 2023, the withdrawal of its permit was due to an unanticipated state event. The message apologized for any difficulty created and indicated that the venue payment of ten thousand Ghana cedis (GHc10,000.00) would be refunded.
The original schedule of speakers included P.L.O. Lumumba of Kenya, Peter Obi of Nigeria, Julius Malema of South Africa, and R. Arikana of Zimbabwe. The topic of discussion was "Igniting the voices of Africa."
