Pastor TB Joshua is accused by former members of forced abortion, rape, and torture.

According to a recent BBC story, Pastor TB Joshua allegedly mistreated and tortured members for more than 20 years.

The BBC claims that it looked into the well-known Nigerian televangelist who, during his lifetime, amassed a sizable worldwide following that lasted for two years.TB Joshua, who passed away in 2021, welcomed members of the international community to his Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos. These members attended his widely broadcast "miracles," "healing," and "deliverance" meetings on Emmanuel TV.

Numerous former Synagogue Church of All Nations members have now accused Joshua of rape and forced abortions, citing "instances of child abuse and people being whipped and chained," and labeled the church "a cult," according to the BBC.

According to the ex-members, the incidents took place in a Lagos facility.

In the three-part series, many women said that Joshua had sexually abused them and had raped them inside the property for years. In addition, other members said that after Joshua sexually assaulted them, they had several forced abortions inside the church. A woman mentioned that she had undergone five terminations.

A British lady named Rae claimed that after being recruited by the church in 2002, she dropped out of Brighton University to pursue her degree. "We all thought we were in heaven, but we were in hell, and in hell, terrible things happen," she stated to the BBC.

Then she claimed that Joshua had sexually abused her and had put her through a kind of solitary captivity for two years. At the time, she was just 21 years old.

For the documentary, the BBC claimed to have interviewed over 25 former "disciples" from Germany, the UK, Nigeria, the US, South Africa, Ghana, and Namibia.

A British woman named Rae said that she left Brighton University to finish her degree in 2002 after being enlisted by the religion. "We all thought we were in heaven, but we were in hell, and in hell, terrible things happen," she told the British Broadcasting Corporation.

Then she accused Joshua of sexually abusing her and subjecting her to a two-year period of virtual solitary confinement. She was only 21 years old at the time.

More than twenty-five former "disciples" from Germany, the UK, Nigeria, the US, South Africa, Ghana, and Namibia were allegedly questioned by the BBC for the program.

"It is very uncommon to make baseless accusations against Prophet TB Joshua... Regarding the allegations, the church stated that none of them were ever verified.
