The offensive video went viral and sparked a furious backlash on social media.

The two students were reportedly arguing in their room about a minor matter when things suddenly got out of hand and resulted in a fight.

The senior, who is obviously stronger than the junior, grabs the victim by the neck and drags him between beds before slamming his face onto one of the bunk beds in the aforementioned video.

The disturbing video showed the victim's face with a sudden swelling on his cheekbones that dripped blood, indicating that he was injured during the incident.

Adisadel College has declared that a student who was shown on a widely circulated video shoving a junior in a dorm with forcefully has been permanently dismissed as a result of the event.

The offender, a final-year student, will be outright dismissed and will only write his final examinations through the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), according to a statement shared on the school's Twitter account.

According to school officials, the Board of Governors of the school and the Ghana Education Service (GES) will make the final judgment regarding the discharge.

The incident occurred on June 30, 2023, in Quaque House, despite the fact that the video only recently became widely available.

The house master and his deputy, the person who videotaped the incident, and further witnesses who chose not to report it will all face various degrees of sanctions. The afflicted student has also been suspended.

Since there was assault involved, the police have been asked to look into the situation.
