Abutia Wukpo Ho West constituency district is one of the neighboring communities in Ho Facing several difficulties which need immediate help.
Speaking to Destiny Eric, who is a teacher in that community, complained badly about Where he works as a teacher and faces challenges.
The nature of their road to school could be better. They have to wear bathroom sandals because their place is Maddy, so they always get dirty, like students, before getting to their school. There are no gutters or bridges. When it rains heavily, it takes them months to return to work. The canoe they also use has spoilt. So those who Don’t know how to swim do not go to work or anyplace until the place is dry up and safe.
Teachers find it difficult to visit students who don’t like coming to school.
Because of our conditions, traders find going for their day-to-day activities challenging. Good crops are getting spoilt because transportation could be better. When our mothers are due for delivery, they find it difficult to take them to the hospital which lead to lost of life.
Lastly, sources of electricity or power supply could be better. Students and teachers find it challenging to study at night, so they find available light sources or go to other communities to learn for a while before returning home. Their situation is getting worse day by day. So they pled to all MPs, Assemblyman, NGOs, and the Government to come to our aid.
