A pretty American woman from a wealthy family marries a physically challenged African man and flies him out after falling in love with him.

The union of Ranti Jacobs Agbaminoja, a resident of the US, and Omotayo Agbaminoja has demonstrated the persistence of real love. Ranti, a citizen of the United States, fell in love with Omotayo, a man with physical disabilities, and they were married. The couple has addressed allegations that their union was bought with an American green card and money.

A US woman named Ranti Jacobs Agbaminoja wed her physically challenged Nigerian partner Omotay Agbaminoja in a white wedding in 2022 after their 2015 courtship. The Yoruba-descent Nigerian-American woman spoke to BBC News in an interview that she met Omotayo at a church in Maryland. 

They began as acquaintances and later became lovers, although she never inquired as to his usage of a wheelchair.

The OAP and entertainment journalist claimed that Omotayo was the one to bring up the subject and explain to her that his disability stems from having polio as a young child, which caused him to lose the use of his legs.

Ranti claims she did not wed Omotayo for financial gain or a green card. Speaking about some rumors surrounding their marriage, Ranti, who praised Omotayo as a very educated and adaptable man, insisted that she didn't wed him for his wealth or American green card. The woman confessed that she is an American citizen and that her family is genuinely wealthy while speaking exclusively in Yoruba. Ranti acknowledged completing Omotayo's US paperwork. Omotayo identified his wife as his destiny's aid, supporting his wife's claims. He stated:

"Contrary to insinuations that she married me because of American green card, she was actually the one that showed me mercy.

My being in America today is thanks to God and her. "She was the one that actually did American papers for me "Whatever people say about us doesn't bother us..."
