Meet the British-Ghanaian actor playing Black Panther in Wakanda. Michaela Coel, a Ghanaian actress of British descent, has been formally introduced as one of the most recent additions to the Black Panther series.
The most recent trailer for the much-awaited sequel, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," featured award-winning Michaela Ewuraba Boakye-Collinson.
Since the announcement on July 23 at Marvel's Comic-Con panel in San Diego, the trailer has finally surfaced online, and many fans have already made plans to release it on November 11.

A moving tribute to Chadwick Boseman, the late Black Panther star, is also featured in the longer than two-minute video.
Michaela, 34, will play Aneka, a Dora Milaje instructor of self-defense.
The comedy-drama series I May Destroy You, which earned the actress the Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie at the 2021 Emmys, is just one of the shows where she has gained notoriety.

She feels deeply connected to her Ghanaian roots.
The author, who occasionally dresses in Kente cloth created in Ghana, never shies away from showcasing her heritage through fashion and other artistic mediums.
She is one of the six comedy industry pioneers recognized by Variety for their 2021 Power of Women.
The designer of her outfit, Ghanaian fashionista Nana Kwasi Wiafe, claimed that Michaela was influenced by two of Ghana's "most formidable Queens." Asantehene's mother, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II, and Nana Yaa Asantewaa, Queen of Ejisu.
