Unquestionably, Kelly Kells is a new name in gospel music currently permeating every home in Ghana. Kelly Kells, who goes by the name Kugbey Benedicta Kekeli in real life, comes from Weta in the Volta Region but is currently living in Accra in search of better opportunities. She began her early schooling at Richeasther Complex in Zenu and was accepted to Ghanata SHS for two years. She later left and finished her studies in 2017 at Weta Senior High Technical School. She passed with flying colors and was subsequently accepted into EMPAC.

 

She is currently working toward her tertiary degree. When she was young, she used to sing in churches and at other gatherings where she could show off her skill. This is when she first fell in love with music. She went into the studio in May 2018 to record her first official song; since then, she has never let anyone down. She presently has 13 songs in all, and she's still adding. On several of the hit tracks from those 13 songs, she collaborated with up-and-coming artists including Yonzy, Yung Flipe, and James. Joyce Blessing, Ohema Mercy, Tasha Cobbs, Franklin Edward, Celestine Donkor, and Sonni Badu are some women she looks up to.

 

Kelly Kells is a talented gospel singer who can move between English, Twi, and Ewe to add melodies to the beat. She can also sing and give praise to her Creator. She occasionally raps fashionable, which is not typical of the Ghanaian gospel music industry.

She warns her followers and music lovers to be on the lookout for her because she has something planned. She wants them to hear nothing but the best music from her and to continue supporting the urban gospel.
