Ashes Banton is a Christian he once led my church choir in singing praises and worship songs by then. The name of the church is Evidence life Chapel at Anlo-Afiadenyigba in the Volta Region of Ghana.
He said he was inspired by the struggles, trials and many other depressing
stuffs that pushed him into making music for his people and the country as a whole to
make them feel better although we going through a lot of awful things.
He has a song called Badmind which means Jealousy in an interview with Kelly Kells on Ghcelebritybiz show, he was asked how he wrote badmind or what inspired him to write. He stated clearly,
"Actually i got a couple of people around me who doesn't like
my craft so whatever that happens in the hood they underate my craft so i
decided to compose 'Badmind' to tell them is all about hard work so they should
do away with jealousy"
